GTA 6 Hacker Arrested In London, Revealed To Be Member Of Notorious Hacker Group

GTA 6 Hacker Caught (Take-Two Interactive/Rockstar-Grand Theft Auto V-The Official Trailer)

It’s actually kind of scary the powers these hackers can steal and possess. A 17-year-old boy from London, England, has been arrested by the London authorities after being outed for not only being the hacker behind the GTA 6 hack, but also belonging to the group Lapsus$.

Well, I guess Rockstar can rest a little easier now that the main suspect behind the GTA 6 hack is behind bars. I can’t believe that a 17-year-old kid from London was able to hack into one of the most secretive and secure gaming companies in the world and steal the source code and unfinished gameplay footage of the most secretive and secure game of all-time.

Like I said, it’s actually really scary how much information and secrets these people can steal with just the click of a mouse. Well, a few dozen clicks and some encoded passwords.

Anyway, this hacker may have not been working alone as it has been revealed that he’s a part of a notorious hacking group called Lapsus$.

“Lapsus$? I’ve never heard of them. How notorious and dangerous could they actually be?” you may be wondering. Well, this group has not only claimed responsibility for the Rockstar and Uber hacks in the recent months, but also is on the FBI’s Most Wanted list under criminal cybercrime gangs/groups.

Yeah, these people are no joke.

Still, it seems one of their leaders/most skilled hackers (if the rumors about this person’s identity are true) has been locked away in an English prison center for now, though the damage he has caused may continue even after his arrest.

There have been rumors and snippets of supposed GTA 5 source code being leaked and sold, while another Telegram hacker account has been found promoting this GTA 6 hack as is they were also responsible and has promised to leak more info.

This really is one massive headache for Rockstar. This 17-year-old has probably already hacked, downloaded, and transferred unreleased materials pertaining to GTA and sold/gave it to his un-arrested Lapsus$ conspirators. It’ll be impossible for Rockstar to ever scrub the internet clean of the GTA unfinished gameplay footage and source code (if it gets leaked).

Nonetheless, it would have been nice if the London police dealt with this situation earlier and punished this kid more harshly the first time they caught him.

Yes, this kid was already found guilty of hacking in the past and was only given a 1-month internet ban by the UK police. Can you believe that?

I’m sure Rockstar can’t as they are now feeling the full force of the UK police’s failure.

Hopefully they can get through the rest of this difficult time unscathed and release GTA 6 without any more issues and leaks.
