The 49ers Are SCARY Good…

This team is extremely dangerous. The San Francisco 49ers proved with their 35-7 humiliation of Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers that they are not only the scariest team in the league, but also have roster depth that teams can only dream of.

This roster is outrageously good. If you had any other team in the history of the NFL lose TWO starting quarterbacks in the same season, regardless of the talent around said quarterbacks, none of them would have stayed together and as dominate as this 49ers roster has been.

From Trey Lance breaking his leg in the first game of the season to Jimmy Garoppolo breaking his foot just last week, this 49ers roster has continued to show up week in and week out and absolutely crush the best teams and players in the league like it’s nothing. And this past Sunday was no different.

Sure, this Tampa Bay side has been a sorry excuse of a football team from what it was two seasons ago, but it still boasts of some of the best players in the league, such as LB Devin White, LB Lavonte David, WR Mike Evans, WR Chris Godwin, and the G.O.A.T. himself, Tom Brady.

I expected the 49ers to beat the Bucs pretty good as they were coming in on the Brock Purdy 1st NFL start high and were playing in Levi Stadium, but I didn’t expect the 49ers to utterly ragdoll the Bucs like that.

The 49ers defense, led by utter studs in Fred Warner, Talanoa Hufanga, Nick Bosa, Dre Greenlaw, Samson Ebukam, Jimmie Ward, and Charvarius Ward, etc., were ruthless against Brady’s Bucs as they forced the greatest quarterback of all-time into throwing two bad picks and nearly 60 pass attempts.

I’ve never seen Brady look so bad in a game ever, and I (as every other Pats fans) have been watching Brady throughout his career a lot closer than the average NFL fan. That Tampa Bay offense looked like it belonged in the CFL against the 49ers all-powerful defense, which is telling in its own right.

NFL teams should never get humiliated that badly, regardless of how bad or good they are on the given year.

As for Brock Purdy and the 49ers offense, how is this team coming up with legit NFL starters out of nowhere?

Brock Purdy looked like he was a 10-year, former NFL MVP and Super Bowl winning QB on that field yesterday, even though he doesn’t have even a hundredth of those credentials.

He was the LAST PICK in 2022 draft, the Mr. Irrelevant of that class. He should be currently working as some accounting assistant or a McDonalds, as all the ‘Mr. Irrelevant’ picks end up doing after getting inevitable cut in the offseason, not leading the San Francisco 49ers to the playoffs and a potential Super Bowl berth.

Purdy was outstanding yesterday as threw 16/21 for 185 yards and 2 TDs like most starting NFL QBs, earning himself his first win of his young career against the greatest QB of all time. With Christian McCaffrey, Deebo Samuel (who was not as seriously injured as previously thought), Brandon Aiyuk, Kyle Juszczyk, and George Kittle, Purdy has all of the tools and talent to continue leading this 49ers team to success.

And that is what makes the 49ers such a scary good team: they have starting caliber players as their third stringers, which is something the rest of the league cannot even dream of having.

They may not win the Super Bowl, but they certainly should be one of the favorites.
