Don Sweeny and Cam Neely might be the biggest idiots ever! The Boston Bruins have put their reputation on the line as they signed Mitchell Miller, a 2020 draft pick who ruthlessly bullied and abused a fellow classmate with mental disabilities.
Do Don Sweeny and Cam Neely want to get fired? How STUPID are these two clowns for signing this rat to a contract? It’s honestly baffling that they even entertained the idea of even speaking to Miller, let alone signing him to an entry level deal. The very reputation of not only these two buffoons, but also the Boston Bruins organization as a whole has been irreparably damaged because of this signing.
You just don’t sign players, no matter how good they may or may not be, if they are as vile as Mitchell Miller. And, let me tell you, this Miller kid is something else.
Essentially, Mitchell Miller and another one of his friends ruthlessly and cruelly bullied a fellow classmate, Isaiah Meyer-Crothers, with intellectual and mental challenges/disabilities for years as the abhorrent pair made Meyer-Crother’s life a living nightmare.
They would beat him up, call him racial slurs (he is of African American decent), insult his intelligence and disability, trick him into believing they were friends for only to ambush him with a slur or an attack later, and even forced the poor kid into eating candy that Miller threw into a urinal all within a few years span.
I realize that Miller was only 14 years old and was only a middle schooler at the time, but how many people do you know from your middle school days that would have done all of that to a mentally/intellectually disabled child? This is next level of cruelly that can really only speak to the true character of Miller. It honestly horrific just even reading about it.
Plus, Miller has supposedly never apologized to Meyer-Crothers since the incident. Aside from a court mandated written apology (yes, Miller went to juvenile court over this), Isaiah Meyer-Crothers’ mom has said that Miller never said sorry or expressed remorse to her son.
Nonetheless, Miller was able to still be drafted in the 4th round by the Arizona Coyotes back in 2020 but was immediately released as the details about how sadistic Miller was to Meyer-Crothers came out. Yet, two years later, good ol’ Don Sweeny and Cam Neely have signed the guy out of the blue.
ARE THEY INSANE? WHY WOULD THEY DO THAT?!?!?!
These two clowns should have been fired years ago for their draft debacles (i.e.: 2015 draft) and their failure to win another Stanely Cup with this core roster, and this story just proves that fact ten times over. No other GM or Team President would have even dreamed of signing such a divisive, toxic, vile character like Miller in the first place, which shows how inept Neely and Sweeny really are.
Sure, Neely was a great player in his day, but he’s been an AWFUL Team President. Like we see with many great players who move into management/coaching, being great on the ice does not mean you’ll be great off it. On the other hand, Don Sweeney has been a failure in the sport of hockey ever since he came into the NHL back in 1988. So, no surprise there.
Anyway, this is such disappointing news to have to see as the Bruins were actually radically improving under new head coach Jim Montgomery. But, like always, Dumb and Dumber…excuse me…Sweeney and Neely had to ruin that too.
This may be sacrilegious but is there anyway the Bruins can bring back Peter Chiarelli. Yes, he may be a dreadful GM as well but at least he won a Stanley Cup and didn’t sign hateful 14-year-olds.
Well, at least we won’t get to see Miller play in the NHL or AHL as NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman has already come out and banned Miller from playing indefinitely. So, in other words, Sweeney and Neely signed a hateful, racist, jerk to a three-year contract, even though he cannot play a single second in the NHL.
You see what I mean about these two fools.
