Manchester United Are An Absolute JOKE…

How difficult is it to just accept a £6B offer for something that you only bought at £790M? Manchester United are the jokes of the Premier League right now as all summer transfer business is being held up by The Glazers incompetence and negligence in selling the football club to either Sir Jim Ratcliff or Sheikh Jassim.

I really don’t understand how The Glazers can acquire over $4B yet be so completely useless in everything they do.

Despite saying they wished to find a “strategic alternative” all the way back in November for ownership of the club, The Glazers have done their hardest to make the sale and bidding process for Man United as painful and incompetent as possible as they’ve needlessly drawn out the process, played footsies with both parties, and have destroyed the early summer transfer business for Erik Ten Hag and the club. And, as you can probably guess, this is just typical of The Glazers.

As I said in the intro, I really have no idea how The Glazers have managed to keep their late father’s fortune intact for as long as the two sons, Avaram and Joel Glazer, (or more appropriately named Dumb and Dumber) have as they simply are incompetent buffoons.

Okay, maybe they’re far wiser and calculated in the operations their family business, First Allied Corporation, alongside the help of their brothers Bryan and Edward Glazer (yeah, there’s a whole pig’s liter of these guys), but everything these two have done since their father passed away in 2014 has ended up in either catastrophe or mediocrity.

Aside from the one Super Bowl win in 2020 as the owners of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, The Glazers heirs have overseen 5 years of the Bucs 11-year playoff drought, the Tom Brady era of the Bucs only having one Super Bowl win to their name, countless free agent and draft flops, Manchester United’s failure to win a Premier League title in over a decade, the failure of 4 managers (Van Gaal, Mourinho, Solskjær, Rangnick), Man United’s longest trophyless drought (2017-2023) in 40 years, just four trophies in total in nearly a decade of ownership of the club, and some of the worst transfer flops in Man United history.

Seriously, when you think of Man United flops like Angel Di Maria, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Alexis Sanchez, Daniel James, Radamel Falcao, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Morgan Schneiderlin, Memphis Depay, Romelus Lukaku, Marcos Rojo, and the biggest bust of them all…Paul Pogba, they’ve all come under The Glazers reign!

And, obviously, along with the failure to improve the training facilities, allowing Old Trafford to rot and fall into disrepair, the degradation of the academy team, and an inability to do deals in timely fashion, these short comings have caused Man United to fall from being the greatest team in all of England to a side that can barely make the Champions League three seasons in a row.

And now The Glazers’ incompetence has struck once again as the $5B+ bids from both Jim Ratcliff and Sheikh Jassim have been used to compete against one another in The Glazers greedy need for even more cash. I really have no idea who’s going to win this bidding race and I don’t actually care anymore as either option would be preferable to the money-suckers currently sitting in the executive chairs and fattening themselves up on dividends at Man United.

Man United can’t even do simple deals like acquiring Mason Mount for £60M or so from Chelsea as The Glazers are cheap, greedy buffoons who would rather see the club suffer and fall into disrepute as the rest of the league strengths than losing a £60M investment for the short-term good of an asset they may not own in the future.

Meanwhile, clubs like Arsenal, Chelsea, Spurs, Newcastle, and Liverpool are jumping headfirst in the transfer market and buying some of the best and most valuable players in the world to improve their squads, while the other big boys of Europe are doing the exact same thing.

Being a fan of Man United is honestly one of the most depressing sports fandoms I can think of right now as every fan knows The Glazers won’t improve the stadium, they won’t spend wisely or timely to improve the squad, they are perfectly fine with 4th place finishes, and they only care to use Man United as a business and source of income.

I pray this sale finishes soon, but I fear it’s going to drag out for A LONG TIME.
