Man United Have A MUTINY BREWING!

Another one already? Man United are in the midst of a locker room mutiny as manager Erik Ten Hag and Jadon Sancho have gone back in forth IN PUBLIC over the player’s supposed poor training attitude.

What a disgrace these players have been to this club.

Manchester United are going through yet another locker room mutiny as this time it’s Jadon Sancho, who has been on the peripheral for a long time, has lashed out at Erik Ten Hag’s Arsenal postgame comments about him not training well and being completely dropped. And, to be honest, Man United need to make an example out of Jadon Sancho to restore order.

This is such a disheartening situation as on the one hand, I’m a big fan of Jadon Sancho as he’s really one of the most talented young English players alive today.

Whether it was at Man City’s youth academy, Borussia Dortmund, or on international duty with England, Jadon Sancho was always one of the most standout, talented wingers on display as his fantastic footwork and eye for goal always resulted in him being a game breaker of some kind.

And I really wanted that to happen for Man United when the club bought him for a n0w-insane €85.00M back in the summer of 2021 (which happened to be the last summer of Ole Gunnar Solskjær’s reign), but that’s just not been the case as he’s only scored 10 goals and 6 assists in a little over two full seasons for the club…which is really bad when you see he scored 17 goals and 16 assists for Dortmund in the Bundesliga ALONE in 2019/20.

Plus, to finish off this other hand comparison, Sancho was given a full three months off by Erik Ten Hag to work on his own personal issues last season, but he’s still reportedly showing up to training late, not putting in enough effort, or simply not living up to the high standards of Erik Ten Hag and Man United. And those are complaints that have followed him around EVERYWHERE he’s gone.

No, this recent dispute over not being named to the 18-man matchday squad in United’s 3-1 loss to Arsenal is not new for Sancho as he’s been accused/punished of/for these bad training behaviors by the Man City youth academy coaches, old Dortmund coaches, and England manager Gareth Southgate in the past.

In fact, Man City manager Pep Guardiola said that the reason why Sancho left the City youth system was because, “He didn’t want to take this challenge, this opportunity to discover if he was able to (perform at the top level).”

That’s pretty damning when you see how Pep has introduced Phil Foden, Cole Palmer (who was sold to Chelsea for €50M+ as a starter for the Blues), and Rico Lewis from the City youth team over his time with the club, and has used young talents, such as like Julian Alvarez, Erling Haaland, Raheem Sterling, etc., as key starting players during his team’s tremendous success in the past.

So, we’ll never really know the truth behind this situation, but I’ve got to back Erik Ten Hag 100% in this matter as he’s been able to weed out some of the issues with Man United during his brief stint at the club, while Jadon Sancho has an extremely long and growing list of off-field, training-related issues that just won’t go away.

I really hope this isn’t another example of a very young, talented player losing focus of football and wasting his talent away on the United bench and on silly, ulterior motives, but I fear it is heading that path.
