Aaron Rodgers is 100% right about the New York Jets. The New York Jets are one of the most disgraceful and foolish teams in all of the NFL, and Aaron Rodgers was 100% right to call his own team out about the Zach Wilson leaks.
What a disaster this season has been for the Jets.
Despite having so much chemistry and bond with one another in the offseason and during Hard Knocks, the New York Jets have seemingly lost any and all team spirit as leaks, backstabbings, and detrimental rumors have swirled all about the team over this last week. And, even though he’s the franchise QB, I’m glad Aaron Rodgers called out this clown show for what it was.
So, I’m sure you guys have all seen the rumors now that Zach Wilson, who was the Jets 2nd overall pick in 2021 and was the starting QB for all of last season and the vast majority of this year after Rodgers’ Achillies tear in Week 1, was “refusing” to play as the starting QB again this weekend against the Houston Texans because he “was afraid of getting injured”. You’ve all heard those reports, right?
Well, what do you know, the legacy media buffoons didn’t know what they were talking about as Robert Salah came out today and said that not only was Zach Wilson going to be on the roster this weekend, but he’s back under center as THE STARTING QUARTERBACK against the Houston Texans. And, the only thing I can say to that is shame on the New York Jets organization.
Now, it’s perfectly fine to be annoyed about the legacy media outlets being bloodthirsty, convening rats running in and about the Jets team and leaking RUMORS that were clearly unsubstantiated, but I find more fault in these “sources” that gave these rumors over to these rats in the first place. Who the hell is the dumbass, lying piece of you know what who leaked these rumors to the press?
Close teammates of Wilson, members of the Jets’ coaching staff, trainers and employees of the team, or moles in the executive levels of management? Whoever it was, they not only need to be fired immediately, but they also need to be shoved in a pillory and thrown tomatoes at. That’s how disgusting this leak is for the Jets team.
Obviously, if you’ve read anything else I’ve posted in the past, you’ll know that I’m in no way, shape, or form a New York Jets fan or even sympathetic to the team (I’m a Pats fan), but these kinds of leaks and lies will only tear the Jets franchise apart and stop them from potentially winning a Super Bowl.
Aaron Rodgers was 100% right to come out and shame whoever leaked these reports and say that this is the reason why the Jets are a losing organization (in more or less those words) as he’s right. When’s the last time you heard these kinds of reports come out about the Chiefs, or the Eagles, or the 49ers? And you definitely did not hear these reports about the great dynasties of the past, such as the 21st century Pats dynasty, the 90’s Cowboys, the 80’s 49ers, or the 70’s Steelers.
It doesn’t happen because that’s not what winning organizations do, and the Jets need to find out who these rats are and fire them immediately if they wish to even have 1/10th of what these great dynasties accomplished.
