Disney Has Been Destroyed…BY SOUTH PARK

Disney Has Been Destroyed...BY SOUTH PARK (Paramount Pictures-South Park-Joining The Panderverse First Look Clip)

Well, leave it to South Park to call out the House of Mouse. Disney’s unquestioned reign and control of the legacy media outlets, corporations, and entertainment sources is without question over with South Park leading the charge in OPENLY MOCKING the House of Mouse.

The floodgates are wide open now…and Disney is going to drown from the onslaught.

After a half decade of making some of the most asinine, stupid, and worst possible creative decisions and picking the worst battles, Disney is now facing the full brunt of Hollywood’s ire with South Park opening the damn of criticzm, insults, and mockery of Disney by the major media, corporate, and entertainment outlets. And, it’s about time Disney’s feet got put to the fire for their shitshows.

Firstly, if you guys don’t know what I’m talking about, I’ve got no idea how that is if you haven’t been living under a rock this last week or so. South Park, one of the most famous parody TV shows to have ever been created, released the single most scathing, critical, and just downright brutal mockery of Disney and the current iteration of projects released by the company in perhaps the 100-year history of the corporation.

Seriously, there wasn’t anyone or anything safe from Trey Parker and Matt Stone’s mockery with Star Wars, Indiana Jones, the Disney Princesses, Marvel, the MCU’s multiverse, Bob Iger, and especially Kathleen Kennedy being made to look like complete fools and soulless IPs, respectively, in the show’s latest episode: Joining The Panderverse. The name should pretty much tell you all you need to know about it.

And, even though I’m not the biggest fan of South Park (Family Guy is better IMO), I can’t do anything say that South Park is right about pretty much everything they mocked Disney for.

Disney has turned the biggest entertainment IPs, such as Star Wars, Marvel, Pixar, Indiana Jones, and the Disney Princesses, into Hollywood laughingstocks and shells of their former selves, while Kathleen Kennedy and Bob Iger have broken Disney’s megalithic finances by pushing their stupid, polarizing, and just frankly unpopular messages and agendas onto these films and franchises.

Even if you agree with some of the stuff Disney has done with the films and franchise, it’s impossible to disagree with the fact that Disney IS NOT the same company that it was just five years ago.

And that’s because of fools like Kathleen Kennedy and Bob Iger.

Nevertheless, I wouldn’t really be making an article about this episode if it wasn’t for the fact that EVERYONE in and around Hollywood is now coming to dunk on Disney.

Almost immediately after the South Park episode came out (and South Park is owned by Paramount Pictures…one of Disney’s biggest rivals), Variety released a SCATHING article about how pathetic, useless, and broken Marvel Studios has become over the last few years. And then another article came out from The Hollywood Reporter, then Vanity Fair, then Forbes, then the Daily Mail, then Fox News, then Deadline, then Screen Rant, then IMDb, then Dextero, etc.

See what I mean?

Practically everyone in the entertainment industry took out their knives and jabbed them straight and deep into Disney’s side as if it was Caesar and they were the Roman Senate. Now, I’m not one for conspiracies, but I find it really hard to believe that they were not sitting on these scathing articles for years, and bidding their, respective, time for when Disney was weak enough to attack.

As I said, EVERYONE came out and ripped Disney into shreds…and I think it’s pretty telling that Disney has been VERY, VERY, VERY quiet since this episode has come out. Well, at least they’ve been quiet in respects to not putting out a statement in response to South Park or any of the other articles as they have been very vocal in delaying and postponing the crap MCU, Disney Princesses, Pixar, and Star Wars projects slated to release soon.

I’m not saying this mass attack on Disney will FINALLY get the company to reverse it’s horrible storytelling and creative control decisions (the Ike Perlmutter and Nelson Peltz hostile takeover might do that from within instead), but it has definitely made it a lot easier for the rest of Hollywood and the entertainment field to break free from Disney’s long-reaching clutches and speak out against the stupidity of the House of Mouse.
