The long wait is almost over. Rockstar Games has officially announced that Grand Theft Auto VI is releasing the game’s first and HIGHLY ANTICIPATED trailer, and it’s coming out in December!
It’s about time a trailer for GTA VI comes out.
After over a full decade of time between the two entries in the Grand Theft Auto franchises and the last year of hacks, controversy, leaks, and data breaches of the Rockstar Games, Rockstar has announced that a new, world-premiere trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI, which is probably the most anticipated game of all-time, will be officially coming out in early December. And, as you could probably guess, I’m EXTREMELY excited for this game.
Our long journey in the darkness has finally ended. All of those years of wondering, waiting, hoping, questioning, and nearly being driven to the brink of insanity waiting for Rockstar to just give us a sliver, a glimpse of light of news on Grand Theft Auto VI are finally validated. We can now bask in the warmth and grace of the almighty-okay, I’ll stop being so dramatic as this is just a simple announcement.
Obviously, I’m super glad that Rockstar has officially unveiled THE ANNOUNCEMENT of the first trailer for Grand Theft Auto 6, and I wanted to make an article talking about it with all of you guys. But, the thing is, we’ve kind of already seen/read far more about GTA 6 in the leaks and subsequent huge documents detailing all the new features than what we’re ever going to see in ALL of the GTA 6 trailers Rockstar has planned.
I’m not trying to take away from the trailers or seem like I’m condoning the hacking, but it’s just a fact that Rockstar would be moronic to reveal all of the new features, story details, characters, plotlines, etc. in a few 3-minute trailers that are only created to generate interest in the undoubtably $70-$100 Grand Theft Auto VI. But that doesn’t mean I’m not still super excited for this trailer.
Not only will the Rockstar official trailer be 100% more official and polished than any of the leaks and hacks that came about a good 6 months ago now, but they also will be really indicative and definitive as to the concrete facts about the game that the leaks have hinted at. For instance, we’re going to find out pretty much instantly where the game is taking place, what’s the BROAD premise of the story and plot, who the main characters and protagonists will be, what’s the BROAD stakes at play, and what the graphics are going to look like.
Personally, I hope Rockstar mixes in gameplay footage and cinematic cutscenes in this trailer to showcase both as the secret about the new mechanics, gameplay, graphics, etc. has pretty much been burst with the leaks. Mind as well just combine the first story and gameplay trailers into this grand one, and then go from there as it’s not like we don’t broadly know what the game will look like and how it will play.
Nevertheless, I’m just really excited to see this new trailer and FINALLY get some official images and footage of Grand Theft Auto VI!
