This can’t go on. It’s going to actually kill Man United fans. Man United utterly embarrass themselves by losing 4-0 TO BRENTFORD!!!
I have had enough of these players. Each one of them (aside from Ronaldo) are complete wastes of space and disgraces to the badge. I just can’t understand how players who cost and earn so much money can be that bad?
This must be the tenth game in the last 12 months where Man United have lost by three or more goals. I know for a fact that this is the seventh away loss in a row (longest streak since 1936) and the first time since 1992-93 the club has lost its first two Premier League games.
With Liverpool coming up next, United could seriously go 0-3 and be 20th in the Premier League after the first month of the season. It’s unfathomable how this team has gotten worse from their 6th place finish last season.
I really believe that these players enjoy being humiliated every week, just like clowns and jesters. Because that is what they all are: circus clowns and court jesters. No one with professional pride gets humiliated every other week unless they want to be. Even teams like Norwich and Fulham fight for their places in the first few months of the season before they are consigned to relegation.
Anyway, I should at least talk about the game and Brentford a little bit. Simply put, Brentford was phenomenal. They dominated United’s clowns in the backline (de Gea, Maguire, and Shaw) by pressing them down and forcing them into countless mistakes.
I know Brentford didn’t have much of the ball (only 33% possession), but they controlled the game.
It was a classic “control the game without the ball” masterclass by Thomas Frank and his Brentford. He knew that United had clowns and cowards with no spines, and he used the physical intensity of his team against them. With additional bonus of the ruthless Brentford crowd cheering their team on, this game turned into a shark (or I should say bee) feeding frenzy.
Man United never had a chance. Brentford were brilliant and deserved this dominating win.
What also doomed United was there ever-mercurial goalkeeper: David de Gea. de Gea’s mistakes for the first two goals is just inexcusable. He needs to be dropped immediately if he’s going to start pulling that nonsense again.
I know he was great last season, but ever since Ronaldo scored that hattrick on him in the 2018 World Cup, he’s been bipolar in his play. He needs to get his head in the game or else….
Has Keylor Navas been sold to Napoli yet? He’s a far better goalie than de Gea and won’t make those mistakes.
Another thing I don’t understand is how Harry Maguire, Scott Mctominay, Marcus Rashford, and Fred always start and never get taken off. These players are AWFUL, with Mctominay, Fred, and Maguire being championship caliber.
They are the worst United players I have ever seen play for this club.
I’d take Odion Ighalo, Phil Jones, and Marouane Fellaini over these clowns. And so would everyone else in the fanbase, yet they still never get dropped. It’s like they have a gun to ten Hag’s head and force him to keep them on. This is really strange and should be looked at for foul play as there is something fishy going on with these ‘undroppable’ players and their contracts.
Moreover, I fear for Erik ten Hag. When United lose to Liverpool next weekend by 5 (we all know they will), that Southhampton game may sink ten Hag’s United career. That is how desperate things are getting.
Erik ten Hag might end up being the new Frank de Boer, which is something no United fan wants. Nevertheless, you can’t go 0-4 (0pts) in the first four Premier League games and expect to stay on. That is just not good enough at the top level of English football.
Man United’s season is going to come down to these next two weeks in the transfer window. If United can’t sign anyone else, then the club is going to finish in the bottom half of the Premier League. I have no doubt about it as these players will dowtool on Erik ten Hag faster than them running to the bank to cash their weekly pay checks. That’s just who they are.
SOMETHING NEEDS TO CHANGE. NOW!
